Mothers Day...

Today amoung today i shed a tear..
A present given to me from beyond my years
An object i thougth once lost... but now is found
A tresure Trove of places that my women of life have been

An emotional flood flows threw me like rapids
unable to understand the tears that come
then realizing i have gained the knowledge of so many
with one object hanging from my wrist

Ode to the women of my past... and family
you have shared life with me and now
i wear your adventures
I pray that i can too place a charm upon it
Then to hand it down to the next generation

my heart is still flooded with emotions i am trying to understand
tears could fall at any moment
collections i do have...
